OSSR

Open-source Scientific Software and Service Repository

As part of the European ESCAPE project, I had the opportunity to design and develop the Open-source Scientific Software and Service Repository (OSSR).

The goal? To create a sustainable and accessible space for sharing scientific software, services, and datasets—especially for the astroparticle and high-energy physics communities.

Open science goes beyond publishing papers: it also includes the tools and data that enable research to be reproduced and expanded. With the OSSR, we aimed to provide a curated platform, integrated with Zenodo, to:

  • Centralize scientific software and services.
  • Make them easier to discover and reuse.
  • Foster collaboration between projects and research infrastructures.
